THE SOROS INFILTRATION

The drug problem in America that is killing and destroying our young people is not happening by accident.  The illicit drug trade does purportedly $500 billion of business annually.  They have the financial resources to corrupt, and they know that almost all those, young and old, who are dependent on drugs incurred the problem as kids.  They know the science that says if young people arrive at adulthood intact they will never have a problem, so to create a market for drugs, they target kids, knowing that some will die, like my son Steven.  Those who survive their youth will provide a captive market for their insidious products.  This is devastating to our people and country.

 

My son died from an overdose of oxycontin, a prescription drug.  I know we are here today primarily because of the meth epidemic that is out of control in this country, but, I can tell you that all drugs are dangerous ? even alcohol and tobacco for young people, because their bodies and brains are not fully developed and they are much more susceptible to harm and addiction.  They need adult protection, which right now they are not getting. 

 

Historically, in the war on drugs, our government has focused on interdicting supply, and to a lesser degree to demand reduction.  There is another threat, however, that has gone largely unnoticed, that may be much more dangerous:  the infiltration of the well financed pro-drug forces within our own borders.

 

There are three billionaires, George Soros, Peter Lewis and John Sperling who have and are spending tens of millions of dollars throughout the United States and abroad to legalize and decriminalize drugs.   They are masters of deception.  They are unscrupulous.  They are infiltrating our federal, state and local governments by influencing legislators with campaign contributions.  And they are a greater threat to our young people and country than all other forms of terror combined.

 

In California alone, according to public records, these three out of state billionaires and their organizations  have invested roughly $6.9 million dollars.  They were the financial source behind Prop 215, the hoax perpetrated on the voters of California which legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes; and Prop 36, which directed non-violent drug users and dealers back to the streets, instead of incarceration.  They, and the organizations they support, such as the Drug Policy Alliance, have contributed heavily to various causes and politicians in the California legislature, as indicated on the attachment. 

 

There are those among us today that know better the impact of these expenditures in California, such as Linda Taylor and Roger Morgan.  It seems the Chairs of the Assembly Education Committee (Ms Goldberg) and the Public Safety Committee (Mark Leno), and numerous members of each committee, have all received campaign contributions from the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA).  Senator Vasconcellos, who last year introduced legislation that would have prevented schools from using random student drug testing as a prevention tool, and who is now termed out of office, now serves on the Board of the Drug Policy Alliance, along with its primary financial contributor, George Soros.  It is unimaginable that any elected official would sacrifice the health and safety of young people for a campaign contribution of $2,000 to $3,200 dollars, but that appears to be the case.

 

Now, I am from New York, so why would I be concerned?

 

Because I am an American, and kids in California are, in my opinion, just as important as those in New York.  And what happens in California, the most populous state in the United States influences what happens elsewhere.    If we care about the future of America, then we have to be concerned about all young people.

 

Be aware of The Drug Policy Alliance:

 

·         They teach children its OK to use illegal drugs, as long as they do it responsibly, in complete deference to the fact they are physiologically much more susceptible to harm. 

·         They promote safe crack kits, so kids won?t cut their lips and enhance their chances of contracting a sexually transmitted disease. 

 

·         They promote reducing harm and incarceration for drug users and dealers, such as prop 36, who in turn inflict more harm on innocent victims of society.  The average addict commits 100 crime a year, and while treatment is necessary, incarceration of the threat of it is generally required to motivate users to pursue treatment.

 

·         They promote legalizing marijuana for medical use, knowing it is a hoax and marijuana not only has no medicinal value, it is extremely harmful.

 

·         They promote giving clean needles to addicts to inject illegal drugs, in theory to reduce sexually transmitted diseases, in defiance of the fact that 80% of drug users die from overdose, and most addicts could care less whether the needle is clean or not.  Providing needles to addicts to hasten their own demise is immoral and a waste of tax dollars. 

 

·         They oppose non-punitive random student drug testing because they know it works, and it is the least costly, most effective solution to prevent drug use.

 

·         Marsha Rosenbaum, who is director the San Francisco office, even promotes the idea of responsible use of illegal drugs by children.   She also wrote the epilogue to ?Its Just a Plant?, a ludicrous new children?s book extolling the virtues of marijuana.

 

 

You, collectively, are no doubt better able to assess the damage in California than I am.  But if I can offer a word of advice, it would be to carve out those politicians whose philosophies have been shaped by campaign contributions, and replace them with others who will safeguard our young people.  The future of your state, and our nation, depends on it.

In addition, George Soros contributed $27 million in the last presidential campaign to defeat George Bush, which obviously buys a lot of loyalty from the Democratic party. 

 

The Marijuana Policy Project recently donated $5,000 to Congressman Farr from California.  Their mission to legalize pot for recreational use.

 

Drugs kill and destroy Democrats and Republicans with equal abandon.  This is a non-partisan clarion call for all Americans, irrespective of party affiliation,  to demand of all elected officials, from the President to School Boards, to fulfill their two most important responsibilities:  1) protect the people they were elected to serve; and 2) manage tax dollars intelligently.    Currently neither is being done adequately.
